SPECIAL CALLED MEETING NOTICE

The City of Baxter Board of Mayor and Aldermen will have a public hearing Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 5:45 p.m. at Baxter City Hall 200 Main Street. The purpose of the public hearing will be to solicit comments from the public on Ordinance 2013-9 “an ordinance of the Town of Baxter, TN adopting a budget for the general and special revenue funds and tax rate for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014 and Ordinance 2013-10 “an ordinance of the Town of Baxter, TN adopting a budget for the Water and Sewer Fund for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014” At 6:00 p.m. there will be a special called meeting for the 2nd and final reading of Ordinance 2013-9 and Ordinance 2013-10. The public is invited to attend.

The City of Baxter Board of Mayor and Aldermen will have a public hearing on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 5:45 p.m. at Baxter City Hall 200 Main Street. The public hearing will be held for the following ordinances: Ordinance 2013-11 “an ordinance to amend the zoning ordinance of the Town of Baxter, Tennessee: to add or update the definitions of building, dwelling, structure, manufactured home(s), mobile home(s), and manufactured residential dwellings(s) within the zoning ordinance,” Ordinance 2013-12 “an ordinance to amend the zoning ordinance of the Town of Baxter, Tennessee: to update the mobile homes and mobile home parks section of the current zoning ordinance and to update references found throughout the zoning ordinance as related to the definitions of manufactured homes, mobile homes, and manufactured residential dwellings found in Tennessee Code Annotated, Ordinance 2013-14 “an ordinance to change the zoning classification of property owned shown on the attached map from the R-1, low density residential district to the R-M, medium density residential district,” and Ordinance 2013-15 “an ordinance to amend the zoning ordinance of the Town of Baxter, TN to include a medium density residential zoning district.”
